Lighthouse Theater suffered extensive damage from the snowstorm that struck Missouri on 2/25/13. We are working to assess the damage, and get up and running as soon as possible. KOMU TV in Columbia did a story on the collapse, we will be posting our progress as we go… Thanks to all of our patrons for their “get well” wishes and prayers!

We had planned to open the season April 6 and 13 with a benefit to help the Missouri Foodbank and P.E.T.-MO Columbia. Two wonderful organizations that help multitudes of people. The Missouri Foodbank helps feed the hungry in our area and P.E.T.- MO (Personal Energy Transportation,) they give the gift of mobility by providing three-wheeled, hand-cranked wheelchairs for victims of polio and landmines.

Now the show has been moved to the Missouri Theatre on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:00 featuring the Columbia Cabaret Singers. The first half of the show is a fun filled mini musical called ”Genie in the Radio” and the Second half of the show will be “Mademoiselle FiFi’s Cabaret” The entire show is filled with singing, dancing and comedy. The talented cast, Joe Fedl, Bobbie Lampkins, Oliver Brilliante, Danny Roberts, Lois Ann Marler and of course yours truely Hazel Kinder, have joined together with Studio B Dance Center and Steppin out Dance Studios as well as, Master of Ceremony, Wally Pfeffer, to create a great night of entertainment for you and all the while for the benefit of these two amazing charities! As an added bonus, there will be a Appreciation Drawing for a 40 inch Vizio Flat Screen TV. Every ticket purchased is an Entry for the Drawing at the end of the show. You must be present to win!
